The Western Mustangs women's ice hockey team represent the University of Western Ontario and compete in the Ontario University Athletics conference, which participates in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport athletic program. In the finals of the 2015 CIS national women’s ice hockey championships, goaltender Kelly Campbell accumulated 38-saves as Western prevailed by a 5-0 tally to garner their first CIS national championship. They also secured their first 20 win season and first OUA Division Championship in program history that season.
