Growing up on her home planet of Falleen during the height of the struggle between the Empire and the Rebellion, Leyanne received proper schooling for the daughter of a mid-level Noble family. Leya was thankfully off-world during the atrocities committed by the Empire on her homeworld. When word of the "accident" reached Leya on Corellia during her pilgrimage, she was outraged and further convinced of Falleen superiority. Seeking some form of revenge on the Empire she joined the rebellion just after their victory at Endor. An official recognized an affinity for the technical and demolitions in Leya and she was assigned to some minor covert operations for the Rebel Forces, which later trainsitioned into the New Republic Marine Corps.
