Crewman Strong was a Starfleet engineer assigned to Columbia NX-02 in 2154. In that year, Commander Charles Tucker, who had transferred from Enterprise NX-01, ordered Crewmen Strong and Rivers to begin work on Columbia's injector assembly, as part of an effort to align the ship's dilithium matrix to within 0.3 microns. (ENT: "Affliction") Strong was played by an unknown actor. In the final draft script of "Affliction", Strong was instead assigned, along with Crewman Biggs, to recalibrate Columbia's dilithium matrix.
