A soluble powder made from malted wheat flour combined with dry (powdered) milk. When added to liquid milk and ice cream, it creates a beverage with a malt flavor. Malted milk powder should not be confused with malt powder, which does not contain the dry milk substance. Malted milk powder can be found in most supermarkets.
