He is also noted for being the villain of arguably the hardest and most complex gamebook of the series. Zharradan Marr is a necromancer of demonic origins, who learnt magic alongside Oldoran Zagor and Balthus Dire, two other major Fighting Fantasy villains, and fought against the latter in the gruesome Trolltooth Wars.
