Karl Schäfer is a supporting character in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. A former German expeditioner who was hired to find the entrance to Shambhala and the Cintamani Stone by the Nazis, Schäfer decided to abandon his expedition. Throughout the later events in Among Thieves, Schäfer serves as an ally to Nathan Drake in his fight against primary antagonist Zoran Lazarević.
