Virtue was a play written by Ikoma Jijo. It described the corruption of Doji Nashiko, the maiden later known as the Demon Bride of Fu Leng, and the war she started during the rule of the Crane Clan Champion Doji Komatsu. The work was described as “a homily on the evils of lust, vengeance, and the Crane, not necessarily in that order".
