One of the twelve guardians of Yakushi-Nyorai, who each possesses an aspect of the Twelve Sacred Animals from Chinese calendar. Sindura represents the Rooster/Phoenix, and is usually portrayed as a humanoid armored yellow rooster, armed with a row or a pilgrim's staff.
