The trilogy comprised of: * The Fellowship of the Ring- The first in the trilogy where Frodo Baggins embarks on a mission to destroy Sauron's Ring in Mount Doom with the help of a fellowship. * The Two Towers- The Fellowship is broken and Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Gandalf defends King Theoden from Saruman and his army while Frodo travels alone to Mordor with Sam and Gollum. * The Return of the King- Aragorn follows his destiny to take the throne of Gondor and defend Minas Tirith while Frodo gets closer and closer to Mordor.
