Kotaska was a gang of slavers and spicers which operated on the planet Ganthel during Rae Sloane's childhood. Kotaska thugs wore metal masks cut into the shape of skulls, and were known to abduct individuals from Ganthel's spaceport. Sloane was almost kidnapped by four Kotaska thugs after running away from home, but a nearby astromech droid sounded an alarm which called a dock constable to chase the gang away.
