Paul Chambers was elected to Parliament representing Chownewich in 2937. In 2952, Chambers was narrowly elected General Secretary of the Social Democratic Party of Baltusia. In 2954, Chambers was elected President of Baltusia in a landslide. Despite his landslide election, the Social Democrats lost six parliamentary seats and was still one of the smallest parties in Parliament. However, he was able to form a coalition with other parties and form a government with Adélaïde Bourassa as Prime Minister.
