Beverly Woo was a female Human scientist who operated on Earth. She was noted as being a ruthless businesswoman who was a notable physicist. Jonathan Doors attempted to recruit her once but she was too expensive for Doors International. Woo was later responsible for the creation of Portal Space Inc but moved to the secret Forge Project where she enlisted Augur to help her in the perfection of the weapon. She fell in love with Augur but when he aided the Liberation movement to destroy the facility, she was mortally wounded in the collapse and declared that she hated Augur for what he had done.
