Klem was a Russian war dog who got wounded in the battle against the Ōu army at the gorge. Daisuke Fujiwara and Hidetoshi Sekiguchi took care of all the wounded dogs, but the Russian dogs left in the middle of the healing. Because of this, Klem died of his wounds, and he was later found and buried by the Ōu army.
