Qwardian culture is somewhat backward compared to humanity. On their homeworld, the highest good is considered evil, whereas justice is considered a crime. The Weaponers of Qward made up a huge portion of the Qwardian race. They were the people that knew about the yellow impurity of the Green Lantern Ring, and they forged the Yellow Power Ring, the first which they gave to Sinestro, who had been exiled on Qward by the Guardians of the Universe.
