The Irania Nui Council were a body of Matoran, led by Turaga Lome that governed Irania Nui. The council was disbanded after Makuta Tyrex, disguised as a De-Matoran, assassinated everyone on the council. The council was responsible for governing Irania Nui as a whole. When matters were too great for a district to decide, or two districts came into a dispute, the Irania Nui Council would be called into session to discuss the matter.
