The Great Giants (species Giganticus Lupicus according to human scientists) wandered the barren landscape of Tyria thousands of years before any other sentient life. Excavations place these mysterious mythical creatures at about 10,000 years BE. It is speculated that the massive bones lying all around Tyria, like in the sands of the Crystal Desert, belong to these mythical giants. Most Tyrians do not give credence to these ancient myths. But those who study history believe their existence to be fact.
