Rustin Apt is a character in First King of Shannara. He was joint commander of the Elven foot soldiers along with Cormorant Etrurian during the Battle of Rhenn in the Second War of the Races. He was slain during the battle, and his body was found at the mouth of the valley. Apt was described as "grizzled," aging, and powerful. He was broad and compact, a warrior true to form and a seasoned veteran.
