[Source] Shortened barrels were a blaster pistol modification available during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire following the Battle of Yavin. The barrels were usually used by spies and plainclothes security forces to hide more easily their weapons. Several models of barrel were available, all costing about File:AurebeshSans-Serif credit.png 250; these included Arakyd Industries's SB4 shortened barrel and SoroSuub Corporation's SBSS reduced length barrel.
