The common Asian fern bamboo is a species of fern bamboo native to Southeast Asia, India, and China. It can grow to about 37 feet tall and can have stems about half a feet in diameter. It is found mainly in swamps, forests, subtropical forests, tropical rainforests, marshes, grasslands, and savannas, but can survive very well in human cities because of their fast reproduction, as well as having in ability to grow in sterile ground and even other ground areas that other plants couldn't reach or grow in.
