New Gaul was an inhabited planet. Miranda Vigo was born here in 2320. (TNG: "Bloodlines" ) This planet was only mentioned in dialogue. Named after Gaul, the ancient name of France.(citation needed • [ edit]) According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), in 2378, New Gaul was listed as a Federation member.
