Janna(VBM010) was First Seen in June 2001 but was thought to have been born in Janaury or March 1999 in the wild group know as the Balrog Mob. He was a subordinate males around two to three years of age at the time the Balrog were followed. The dominant male at the time was Balrog and the dominant female was Luella. They may have been his parents. In mid 2000 he and another Balrog male named Snert went roving at the Vivian Mob, their Janna mated with a Vivian female mated Rapunzel, while Snert mated with the new dominant female Rhian. On August 21, 2000 both females gave birth to a large mix litter of pups named Colobus, Tarsier, Macaque, Uacari, Mangabey, Patis and Sifaka.
