Gord Paynter is a comedian, who performed as the opening act to the Beach Boys at Canada's Wonderland. Paynter performed his routine to open their 1997 performance at Kingswood Music Theatre. He has also opened for Don Rickles (2004), Joan Rivers (2003), and Christopher Reeve (1999). He has appeared on Open Mike with Mike Bullard, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, the fifth estate, Nature of Things with David Suzuki, Studio Two with Paula Todd, Breakfast Television, Comics on CBC, Club 54, and other TV programs.
