Cethan is the Ademic word used to describe someone who uses the art of the Ketan for mercenary work. They are reknowned in the Four Corners of Civilization as superior fighters, with one Adem mercenary being the equal of several non-Adem combatants. Adem mercenaries are easily identified by their unique apparel, which consists of blood-red shirt and leggings bound tightly to the body by leather straps or silk bands. They typically carry a sword, but are also adept at hand-to-hand combat.
