Sarolis was a member of the Green Lantern Corps representing Space Sector 3544. He was seriously injured in a battle with a member of the Sinestro Corps. As he lay on the ground following this fight, he was encountered by several members of the Indigo Tribe. One of these members, Indigo, apparently used his own green willpower energy to suffocate him.
