Eragon's Elvish Guards were twelve elven spellcasters assigned by Islanzadí to protect Eragon. There were six males and six females, led by Blödhgarm, who was the only guard named in Brisingr. All of them were black-haired, except for Blödhgarm, who had blue fur, as well as two silver-haired females. One of them played music during Katrina's and Roran's wedding. All except Laufin and Uthinarë went with Eragon on his journey to find a place for the Riders and Dragons to live.
