Civil War II is a comic book crossover event published by Marvel Comics that is set to begin publication in May 2016. The event is meant to serve as a sequel to the original civil war event that was published between 2006-2007. Unlike the original superhero civil war which dealt with concepts of Freedom vs. Security, Civil War II deal with the superhero community being divided over the concepts of determinism vs. free will.
