The origin of the name Nibiru comes from the Sumerian Text talking of a 12th planet. Some groups claim that it will one day collide with Earth through certain interprations of the texts regarding it. Because of this, some refer to the word Nibiru as being another title for end of the world like Ragnarok, Armageddon and Apocalypse.
