This set of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Because of its low cost and high prayer bonus, players often use this set while training on melee weak opponents as an alternative to Barrows equipment while using the Protect from Melee prayer due to its high prayer bonus and the fact that Barrows equipment degrades over time (and is expensive to repair). This armour is also necessary for achieving a medium Falador Task. A full set of the armour can be stored in the armour case of a Player-owned house.
