The Golden Chocobo is a recruitable monster in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Its crystal is found in A Dying World, in a treasure cube in an alcove in the upper half of the Dead Sands. Another way to recruit it is to obtain it as a rare drop from Valfodr Lv.15 in the "Perpetual Battlefield" downloadable content scenario. It's one of the best chocobos for chocobo racing, only being outmatched by the Silver Chocobo.
