This expansion for Super Smash Bros Brawl adds new non-Nintendo characters and maps to the game, as well as adds a new 'path' for the Subspace Emissary Adventure mode, a new prologue called 'The Worldspace Emissary', that includes some of the new characters. Part-way through development, it was decided to add more than just Hellcat Squadran Series characters and add other characters created by the HS Series's founder for fanon of other series, such as Bakugan Fanon's Solidor Kasun, and Elder Scrolls Fanon's Cynthia Maenn.
