The unicameral parliament of New Cambria, the Assembly of Deputies, currently contains 100 Deputies (ADs), representing 24 constituencies throughout the country. Depending on its size, each constituency must have at least three members. There is no upper limit on the number of members elected, however recent procedure means that constituencies have 3, 4 or 5 ADs. The most recent census ratio (2006) indicates that there is one AD for every 27,700 people. Elections are held using the single transferable vote form of proportional representation.
