He gave a Totem Pole to the Addams Family for Xmas, but wanted their Bear in return. Uncle Fester called him an "Eskimo giver." The Bear was eventually returned, but the Totem Pole remained in The Addams Family Mansion as well. Gomez says the faces on the Totem Pole are Nanook's family.
