Rob Portman was the Bush Administration's Director of the Office of Management and Budget from May 26, 2006 until June 19, 2007. A former Ohio congressman, Portman said through a spokesman that he had decided that after many years in public life, he wanted to spend more time with his family. He will be replaced by former Iowa Representative Jim Nussle.
