The hideous Ugg-I was the former Sinestro Corps Soldier of Space Sector 53. She was executed by the Alpha Lanterns for taking part in the riot and attempted escape from the Sciencells of Oa. During the Blackest Night, she was reaminated, along with the other slain prisoners, into a Black Lantern. During the battle between the Sinestro Corps and Star Sapphires on Zamararon, the arrival of the Black Lanterns, made up of many Fallen Sinestro Corpsmen led by Amon Sur, interrupted both sides. Ugg-I was among the Black Lanterns present on Zamaron.
