Vector the Crocodile had been working on a secret experiment in the Chaotix Crew base when the machine exploded and, thanks to the Crimson Cobra's meddling, Vector turned into a monster. Following a brief scuffle with Mighty the Armadillo and Espio the Chameleon, the giant Vector decided to climb up the side of the Federation Building. Army helicopters soon swooped in on him but were initially unable to get close, with Vector swiping at the vehicles. They later decided to trap him in a net, using four helicopters to surround and capture him. Vector was then carried away, leaving the Federation Building badly damaged on one side.
