Ghillie is Rothan's younger cousin. He is the Res aB'tyrr's hostler and the musician for the dancers. He plays the flute. When he first meets Jame, he teases Jame about her claws, and she almost kills him. Ghillie is rather prone to trouble, once bringing home a bogle, and another time, letting his girlfriend talk him into trying some of Cleppetty's special medicine. Despite this, these things rarely worry him, and he has a taste for the sensational, and is very energetic and enthistaic. He calls Cleppetty "Aunt Cleppetty."
