The TRS-80 Color Computer - affectionately dubbed the "CoCo" by its fanbase - is a series of computers produced by Tandy (aka Radio Shack) from 1980 to 1991. Despite the similar name, it was completely different from the earlier TRS-80 line, so it was not backwards compatible with it at all.
