Hojōjutsu (捕縄術 Hojōjutsu?) is the traditional Japanese martial art of restraining a person using cord or rope. It was practiced by the hunter-warrior Skull, who used hooked ropes. Although Skull made an early appearance in Battle Angel Alita, his name and fighting style were not revealed until the Supersonic Fingers side story.
