Nigel Gallagher is the son of Sheila Jackson and Frank Gallagher. He has a sororal twin named Delia. The twins were born during Series 2's Christmas Special and were delivered by Umi Karib in the living room of the Gallagher house. Nigel, like his sister, was named after a famous cookery show host, Nigella Lawson in Nigel's case, due to Sheila's obsession with both instructional cookery TV shows and daytime television. Sheila took the twins with her when she left Frank and the Chatsworth Estate behind in Series 4, their current whereabouts are unknown and they haven't been seen or heard from since.
