USS Oz was a Wizard-class experimental vessel on active duty in Starfleet during the late 23rd century. Oz was a testbed for an experimental weapons system, ca. 2270. Oz was totally destroyed when that system overloaded the ship's warpfield. No lives were lost, however, as Oz was being operated by the onboard computer.
