Julie Davidson is the mother of murder victim Melanie Cavanagh and the wife of Ben Davidson. She and her husband are currently raising their granddaughters, Bela and Simone Cavanagh, after the death of their father Samuel Cavanagh. By inference, it appears she is unaware of her husband's actions to avenge their daughter, and since Beckett doesn't charge Ben she will presumably remain so.
