Daniel G. Pino (born April 15, 1974) played Armadillo Quintero during Season 2 of The Shield. Pino was born in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents. Danny and his wife, Lily, have two sons: Luca Daniel, born February 15, 2006, and Julian Franco, born June 5, 2007. He has appeared in movies such as the 2005 Andy Garcia drama The Lost City and had recurring roles on similar hit crime shows such as Cold Case (with Kenneth Johnson) and Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit.
