The Sugar Ray, is a bar where the members of the Kamogawa gym usually go to celebrate after their victories. Even before Ippo's arrival, the other members frequented the place, with Takamura and Yagi being particularly popular with the waitresses who instantly take a liking to Ippo who they think is "cute".
