It is visited in Act I of Diablo III. In 1285, a fisherman recovered a strange object within his nets. It looked like the hilt of a blade. Verrall, a priest, convinced him to part with it so he could store the relic within the chapel's cellar, tasking Virgil with guarding it. It was storage that cost Wortham and the chapel dearly, as both town and structure were set ablaze by the Coven in an effort to retrieve the relic. In this they were successful, but were ultimately thwarted by the Nephalem.
