The Eternal Vigilance class Long Range Surveillance (LRS) ship provides the eyes and ears for a Heavy Cruiser Battle Group and Planetfall Readiness Group. Equipped with multiple arrays of high-powered active and passive sensor suites, the LRS is ideal for providing early-warning of impending attack or the strategic positioning of enemy vessels. In doing so, it continually enhances battlegroup track correlation as well as improving the efficiency of offensive and defensive operations.
