The Azuremyst Isles are a group of islands located off the coast of northern Kalimdor. Little was known about this island chain until the arrival of the Draenei on Azeroth not long before the re-opening of the Dark Portal. Their vessel of the Exodar - a satellite of Tempest Keep - crash-landed on Azuremyst Isle (from which the chain gets its name) and crystals from its superstructure are strewn throughout the island chain, causing severe damage to the islands' ecosystems and angering the elemental spirits. The isles, like much of Kalimdor, are dotted with Kaldorei ruins.
