Oliver Taft was a biased judge who wrongly convicted Rosalin Silvo for the murder of her daughter. 10 years later he acquitted Karen Campbell who tried to poison her daughter Alexis thinking "she loved her". After Silvo was released from prison when it was discovered that her daughter was not murdered, Karen then succeeded in killing Alexis, convicted by another judge, via Taft's testimony, and Taft himself was transferred to Civil Court.
