Derek Warner's friend Keith is arrested by the police while digging up in the shed for the stolen money. Derek gets away and heads for Beckindale. The police drive into the village and park outside The Woolpack. They go in and warn all the punters that Derek is on the loose and is armed. Derek catches Donald outside the church and makes him go with him to the vicarage. At the vicarage, armed policemen stake out. Donald persuades Derek to give up. They come out and Derek is arrested. Sgt McArthur comforts Donald.
