The Dark Elemental is an enemy that appears in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy. It usually appears as a guardian of certain tiles or treasure chests in all four of the bonus dungeons. The Dark Elemental is a palette swap of the Earth Elemental and Fire Elemental enemies.
