Dark Spania is an enemy found in Super Paper Mario that is located on the Flopside Trail of 100 Trails on the fifteenth, twenty-second, twenty-eighth, and fifty-fifth floors. These enemies spin at a high speed, attempting to hit Mario. Mario cannot jump on Dark Spania, due to it having spikes that will make Mario gain damage instead. Unlike most other creatures in the game, Dark Spanias appear to be 3D.
